The Gordon College CCS Tech Fest 2025 was held on February 22, 2025, at Marikit Park in Olongapo City. This event, organized by the committed 4th Year students of Gordon College’s College of Computer Studies (CCS), brought together technology enthusiasts for an enjoyable and inspiring day filled with innovation, learning, and friendly competition. It provided an excellent opportunity for students to network, demonstrate their skills, and celebrate the vibrant world of technology.
II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)
Participating in Tech Fest 2025 was a transformative experience that taught me not only about technology but also about the intricacies of successfully organizing a large event. Being part of the behind-the-scenes team, assisting with materials, setting up booths, and ensuring the program ran smoothly helped me appreciate the significance of teamwork, meticulous planning, and effective communication. Attending the seminars was equally rewarding. The Cybersecurity 101 session highlighted the importance of online safety, particularly in today’s digital landscape. Additionally, the discussion on AI and its effects on students ignited my curiosity about how emerging technologies can influence our education and future careers. Hearing directly from industry professionals was truly inspiring. Their insights provided me with a clearer understanding of current tech trends and potential career paths. Overall, Tech Fest 2025 not only enhanced my technical knowledge but also motivated me to continue learning and exploring the ever-evolving realm of technology.
III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learnings)
The Gordon College CCS Tech Fest 2025 provided me with practical ideas that I can incorporate into my daily life. I felt inspired to reassess and enhance the security of my online accounts. The session on AI also piqued my interest in utilizing AI tools to assist with my schoolwork and personal projects. These discussions demonstrated that even minor adjustments, such as improving online safety or experimenting with new technologies, can have a significant impact. I left the event feeling motivated to apply what I learned to enhance my productivity and creativity, not only in my academic pursuits but also in future professional environments.

The venue was well arranged, and there was always someone on hand to provide assistance, ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future activities
Tech Fest 2025 was a tremendous success. From the smooth coordination of the event to the captivating lineup of talks and activities, everything was carried out perfectly. And with that I don’t have any suggestions.
