I. Details of the event/activity
On
December 3, 2024, my team, 7watts, visited Quest ION IT Philippines, located on
the 2nd floor, Unit 1, Amires Building, Lot 7B, Block B, Manila Avenue, Subic
Bay Freeport Zone. We were guided by Mr. Ammiel, the senior application developer.
II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)
The visit
to Quest ION IT was an enlightening experience that broadened our understanding
of the IT sector. One of the key learnings was the importance of adaptability
in technology development. Mr. Ammiel emphasized how the rapid pace of
technological advancements requires professionals to continuously update their
skills and knowledge. Additionally, we learned about the significance of
teamwork and collaboration in software development, as projects often involve
cross-functional teams working together to achieve common goals. Another
important takeaway was the role of customer feedback in shaping product
development. Mr. Ammiel shared examples of how user input directly influenced
the features and functionalities of their applications, highlighting the need

III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar
input on a practical level (practical application of learnings)
The
insights gained from the visit can be practically applied in several ways.
Firstly, the emphasis on adaptability encourages us to pursue continuous
learning opportunities, such as online courses and workshops, to stay updated
with the latest technologies and trends in the IT industry. Moreover, the
importance of teamwork can be implemented in our current projects by fostering
a collaborative environment where team members feel comfortable sharing ideas
and feedback. We can also adopt a user-centered approach in our development
processes by actively seeking and incorporating user feedback into our
projects, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of our target audience.
IV. Positive feedback (on the event organization)
The organization of the visit was commendable. The scheduling was well-coordinated, allowing us ample time to engage with Mr. Ammiel and ask questions. The environment was welcoming, and the facilities were conducive to learning. The presentation was clear and informative, making complex concepts accessible to all team members. Overall, the event was a great success and provided us with a valuable learning experience.
V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future
activities
While the
visit was highly beneficial, there are a few suggestions for improvement.

Quest ION IT could enhance the learning experience, allowing participants to
engage more actively with the material. Additionally, providing a Q&A
session at the end of the visit could encourage more interaction and allow
participants to clarify any lingering questions. Lastly, it would be beneficial
to include a networking session with other professionals in the industry, as
this could provide further insights and opportunities for collaboration. In
conclusion, the visit to Quest ION IT Philippines was an invaluable experience
